Slave Lake Zinc is a Canadian exploration company dedicated to the development of the O’Connor Lake deposit in the Northwest Territories. O'Connor Lake: High-Grade Gold Potential

Historic exploration at O’Connor Lake has revealed exciting gold potential across two distinct vein systems:

  • BSM Vein System: Historic assays of up to 29.17 g/t Au, with significant zinc and lead values, identified over a 400-meter strike length. This system aligns with a compelling geophysical anomaly extending towards a historic shaft area, suggesting further potential.
  • Frank Lake Vein System: High-grade gold values of up to 30.2 g/t Au, along with significant zinc and lead, have been traced over an impressive 1200-meter strike length. This extensive vein system, with widths ranging from 1 to 4 meters, presents a prime target for further exploration.

Unexplored Potential:

  • Parallel Veins: Both the BSM and Frank Lake vein systems show evidence of parallel structures, offering additional exploration targets.
  • Depth Potential: Similar geological formations are known to host valuable mineralization at depths of 2-3 kilometers, indicating significant exploration potential at depth.

Historical Exploration Highlights

  • BSM Vein: Historic sampling has identified significant zinc, lead, and silver mineralization.
  • Red Vein: Historic sampling has returned high-grade silver (360 g/t Ag) and significant lead-zinc values.
  • GT MWK Gossan Zone: Historic sampling has identified manganese showings with trace gold and silver values, indicating potential for additional mineralization types.
